Who is responsible

The data controller is BauArt SARL, 25 ZAC Klengbousbierg, L-7795 Bissen, Luxembourg. You can write to info@bauart.lu or call +352 26 88 72 29.

What we collect

When you send the contact form we receive what you type: name, email, phone, locality or address, your message, plus the page you wrote from and the time of sending.

To protect the form against bots, your IP address and some technical characteristics of your browser are processed at the moment of sending (see “Who processes your data”).

Why

Only to answer your quote or information request and, where relevant, to prepare and follow the works. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and the consent you give by ticking the box on the form (art. 6.1.a).

We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing and we never sell it.

Who processes your data

To deliver your request we rely on providers acting on our behalf:

  • Vercel Inc. (USA) hosts the site and runs the form handling; technical logs are kept there for one hour.
  • Resend Inc. (USA) forwards your request by email to our mailbox and keeps a copy for 30 days.
  • Cloudflare Inc. (USA) provides the Turnstile bot check, which analyses your IP address and browser when you send.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365) hosts our business mailbox; a backup copy is received in a BauArt Gmail mailbox (Google).
  • Google (Google Tag Manager) is used to measure site audience, only if you have consented (see “Cookies”).

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union. Transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (European Commission standard contractual clauses or certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

How long

Your request is kept for as long as needed to handle it and carry out any works, and at most three years after our last exchange. Technical copies at our providers are deleted after the periods stated above.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@bauart.lu.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), 15 boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, www.cnpd.lu.

Cookies

This site sets no audience-measurement or advertising cookies without your consent: the Google tags are loaded with storage switched off by default.

Only strictly necessary cookies may be set, in particular by Cloudflare for the form’s bot check. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
